Suma Manikyam is a musician, Vedic chanter, and audio engineer with a unique background that bridges traditional Indian spiritual music and contemporary music production. A Master’s graduate in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation from Berklee College of Music, Suma specializes in mantra chanting, Carnatic music, Indian classical flute, and immersive audio production.
As the founder of the YouTube channel Braja Beats, she has built a global audience through soulful Vedic chants, Bhagavad Gita recitations, and mindfulness-based musical content, reaching millions of listeners worldwide. Her work combines deep spiritual tradition with modern production techniques, creating music that is both devotional and cinematic.
Alongside her artistic journey, Suma also practiced Ayurveda medicine for over a decade, bringing a holistic and mindful approach to her creative work. She is skilled in advanced music production, audio engineering, sound design, and visual storytelling, with proficiency in Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and Cubase. Her musical abilities span Carnatic vocals, flute, harmonium, tanpura, khol, guitar, and piano, reflecting a versatile and cross-cultural artistic identity.
