Acerca de Omar
My name is Carlos Omar Muñiz Gallardo. I’m a native Spanish speaker with a C2 level of English proficiency (CEFR) and fluent Portuguese. I’m a certified ESL teacher from Mexico with over 16 years of experience teaching students at all levels. I’m the co-owner of an online English language school based in Monterrey, where my partner and I are responsible for creating all course content, designing the curriculum, and developing all teaching materials across our programs. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and a postgraduate qualification in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) from UNAM. I have taught on-site at several companies and in private language schools, working with Mexican students as well as learners from many other nationalities. I have extensive experience teaching general English, business English, conversation, global pronunciation, decoding, and listening skills. I specialize in lexical grammar and materials design, with a strong focus on real-world language as it is used in professional environments, everyday communication, and practical situations.

These classes are for students B1-level and above who want to improve their fluency and vocabulary through practical, real-world English. Lessons integrate grammar and vocabulary in context, helping you move beyond isolated rules and word lists towards more natural communication. Although B1+ learners can express themselves, many still struggle to use language flexibly in conversation, especially under pressure. To address this, I use a Lexical Grammar approach designed to anticipate common errors and guide you towards the expressions and structures used by native speakers in real-life situations. Focus Areas • Collocations, phrasal verbs, and fixed expressions • Grammar patterns used naturally in speech and writing • Context-based learning and meaningful use • Repetition and recycling for long-term retention This integrated approach will help you speak more fluently and confidently in professional and international contexts.
