Hi there!
My name is Rokas, I am an experienced English language teacher with a degree in modern languages from one of the top 7% of the world’s universities – University of Sheffield.
Alongside English, I am fluent in Spanish, French and Lithuanian. My adventures have taken me to various corners of the world (Latin America being my absolute favourite of all) and now I proudly call Spain my home. To tell you a bit more about myself: my passions are classical literature, classical and ancient art, nature (beach life!!), traveling and Latin music, to name only a few…
When we begin our learning journey, I make it a priority to understand your goals - whether you are preparing for an exam, need English for work, or simply wish to use it when you travel. From there, I tailor my approach to suit your specific needs.
Having studied multiple languages myself I have deep understanding of the learning process and what techniques are most effective.
I focus on customizing activities to specific contexts in which you'll use the language. For instance: if you need English for work, I ensure we use plenty of materials from business English course books.

Primero me gusta saber los objetivos del alumno: si está estudiando para un examen concreto, para trabajar, para viajar... A partir de ahí puedo elegir el mejor enfoque para proceder con la enseñanza. Como he estudiado muchos idiomas en mi vida, conozco muy bien el viaje del alumno y sé qué funciona mejor. Me gusta siempre adaptar las actividades al entorno en el que el estudiante utilizará el idioma para garantizar que el beneficio sea óptimo. Por ejemplo: si el estudiante necesita el idioma para su trabajo en la industria química, me aseguraría de que el vocabulario utilizado contenga muchos términos utilizados en esa industria en particular.
