A little about me
I'm originally from Romania and have lived in different countries, including the UK and Spain. I completed my university studies in England and have been living and working in Catalonia for many years.
I love languages and the way they can connect people from completely different backgrounds. I'm also currently learning German and some Greek, so I know what it feels like to be the student as well as the teacher!
Outside teaching, I am passionate about art, illustration and photography, so I always enjoy bringing real-world interests and topics into my lessons.

Hello! I'm Andreea, an experienced English teacher with more than 14 years of experience teaching students of different ages and levels.
I have a C2 level of English and extensive experience preparing students for official Cambridge English examinations. Over the years, I've helped students develop their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and, most importantly, the confidence to actually use English.
Whether you're starting from scratch, preparing for an exam, struggling with English at school, or simply want to become more fluent, I can adapt the lessons to you and your goals.

How I teach
I don't believe that learning English should mean spending the whole lesson doing grammar exercises.
Grammar is important, but so is being able to use what you know.
My lessons are personalised according to your level, personality and objectives. We might work on a grammar problem one day, have a conversation about something you're interested in the next, and practise exam tasks or real-life situations when needed.
I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because mistakes are part of learning. My role is to give you the structure, explanations and practice you need while helping you become increasingly independent.
