Acerca de Abbie
As an English tutor, I like to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learning through real communication. My lessons focus on practical English — speaking, listening, and building confidence — rather than just memorising grammar rules. I enjoy using a variety of methods such as conversations, debates, games, film or book discussions, and creative activities. A typical class might begin with a short warm-up or discussion, followed by an activity tailored to your interests or goals — for example, watching and analysing a film clip, reading an article together, or practising a role-play situation. I also like to suggest short homework tasks to help consolidate what we cover in class. I am easy-going and flexible, and I always try to adapt my lessons to each student’s level, needs, and learning style. My classes are ideal for students who want to improve their speaking and comprehension skills, gain confidence in conversation, or work on school assignments in English. Please note that my Spanish is still at a beginner level, so our communication will be mainly in English — which is also a great opportunity for full immersion and faster progress!
