Hello! My name is Vicky, and I’m a passionate language teacher from Spain, currently living in Italy. I’ve spent over six and a half years in the UK, which has given me a deep understanding of both English and Spanish. I’m currently studying Social Education, which helps me better support students from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic minorities. I’m passionate about teaching because I believe language connects people and opens up new opportunities. My lessons are interactive and designed to be fun and engaging. Outside of teaching, I enjoy painting, singing, hiking in nature, and playing the guitar. These hobbies keep me inspired and allow me to approach teaching with creativity and energy. I’m excited to share my love for languages with you and help you achieve your learning goals in a supportive and enjoyable way!

My Teaching Approach I follow a communicative, student-centered methodology, meaning: You speak a lot from the very first class I adapt to your goals, interests, and personality We focus on natural, real-life language, not textbook perfection We use authentic materials: videos, songs, articles, images, personal stories Grammar is always taught in context, never disconnected from real use I strongly believe that learning a language should feel human and joyful, not stressful or mechanical. What does a class with me look like? Every class is personalized, but here's a typical structure: Warm-up conversation to connect and activate your Spanish Introduction of the day’s topic (based on your interests or needs) Activity using a short video, image, audio, or reading Guided conversation to practice vocabulary and expressions Mini grammar/vocab focus (only if needed, and always in context) Wrap-up with feedback and a suggestion for how to keep practicing on your own Classes are flexible — if one day you just need to talk, ask questions, or prepare for something specific, I’ll adapt on the spot. What makes my classes different? I understand how it feels to move to a new country and face a new language — I’ve done it myself, and I know the emotional side of the process. I’m part of ethnic minorities, so I’m deeply committed to creating inclusive, respectful, and safe spaces for everyone. I have experience working with people in vulnerable situations, which has shaped how I listen, support, and connect with my students. I combine language learning with empathy, humour, and emotional intelligence — we’re not just learning words, we’re building confidence and connection. Who are my classes for? Everyone :)
