Acerca de LEIGH
I was born in the New York metropolitan area and have been fascinated by foreign language since I was a child. I have studied many but learned that I do not become competent in a language unless I am in an "authentic" communicative situation - meaning I am using the language for more than passing a test.
I have two bachelors - both related to languages, as well as a master's in the teaching of English. I was recruited for a two-year stint at the Tec de Monterrey, but I decided that Mexico is where I need to be - so I am still here 20 years later.
My greatest satisfaction comes from knowing that what I teach is helpful to a student's goals and dreams.
