Acerca de Mar
Languages have always been a part of my life. I started studying English when I was little, and I continued learning different languages on my own throughout the years, until it eventually became my job. Nowadays I divide my time working as a translator, teaching, and dancing tango!

Been thinking of learning Spanish and you’ve finally decided to give it a go? Let me help you kick-start this amazing journey!
¡Hola! I'm Mar, a certified teacher more than 7 years of experience working online with students from all over the world, and I specialize in teaching total beginners.
My lessons are based on these 3 principles:
⮞️ Don’t let nerves get in your way
I know that learning a new language can feel challenging at first, that’s why my priority is for you to feel relaxed at all times. We’ll always go at your own pace, and I can switch to English whenever you want me to.
⮞️ Focus on speaking
Took Spanish for years during high school but couldn’t speak a word? That won’t happen with me. My curriculum strategically breaks down Spanish into small “building blocks” that will allow you to speak from day 1.
⮞️ Learn to communicate
Instead of learning ABOUT the language and its rules, my goal is for you to understand HOW to use the language to communicate. That’s why as soon as we learn something (a new building block), we’ll go straight to practicing conversation, role playing, and how that is applied in real life.
Sounds like something you wanna try? Book a trial lesson to see it in action!
